Interesting article and comments from friends. I have been writing a miniseries pilot for the BBC drama recently, so I am on their list and am busy but am not booked up for 2-3 years! Probably Danny Cohen is referring to just half a dozen people and they don't write more than 1 or 2 series per year. So that leaves hundreds of hours of drama available to other writers.
