Vanessa Redgrave and husband Franco Nero were in London last weekend to receive awards.

Best known as the lone gunman in Django (1966) Franco Nero has made over 150 films, including Force Ten To Navarone, Die Hard 2 and most recently, Cars 2. During a career spanning six decades he has worked with directors John Huston, Luis Bunũel, Claude Chabrol, and Rainer Werner Fassbinder, and actors Catherine Deneuve, Peter O’Toole, Harrison Ford, Burt Lancaster and Bruce Willis. The actor was in town last weekend to collect two awards with wife Vanessa Redgrave, who was also honoured at a ceremony at the Italian Cultural Institute.
