UK distributor RevolverEntertainment has acquired all UK and Ireland rights to Gela Babluani's debutfeature 13 (Tzameti), as well as all UK and Ireland rights to DaynaGoldfine and Dan Geller's Ballets Russes,a US documentary about the 20th-century dance troupe.

Revolver plans a December 2UK release for 13 and a February release for Ballets Russes.

Revolver describes 13 as "a French impressionist black-and-whitethriller which deals with chance as a major factor in anybody's destiny." The film recently won the Lion of the Future award atthe Venice Film Festival. Revolver made the deal after viewing a 15-minuteshowreel of 13 at the Cannes Film Festival. Justin Marciano and NickTaussig negotiated the deal for Revolver with Florence Stern, head of internationalsales at MK2.

Revolver Entertainmentstruck a deal with sales agent Lightning Entertainment for Ballets Russesafter the 2005 Sundance Film Festival.

Ballets Russes blends archival footage and interviews in uncoveringthe history of the influential dance troupe that had connections to Nijinsky,Balanchine, Picasso, Miro, Matisse, and Stravinsky. The film also includesfootage of the troupe's only reunion in 2000.
