The shakeup continues as it emerged on Monday (Jan 9) that the evp of distribution and operation has decided to leave the company.

Pollock was one of the key executives when PPI, now headquartered in Los Angeles under Anthony Marcoly, set up shop in London in January 2007. Pollock served under former PPI president Andrew Cripps and arrived from UIP, which he joined in 1987.

Mark Viane, who reported to Pollock as svp of distribution – Europe, will return to Los Angeles as svp of distribution – Latin America and Asia/Pacific. Viane started his career with UIP in Latin America more than 15 years ago.

A replacement for Viane to oversee Europe will be announced in the coming weeks. Both this position and Viane’s new role will report directly to Marcoly.

“Roger has been integral in positioning Paramount International as a market leader in global distribution and we are grateful for all he has done,” Marcoly said. “I would also like to thank him for his active and ongoing guidance in the transition of our new team and wish him every success in the future.”

Marcoly added: “Mark is an extremely knowledgeable and energetic executive. We look forward to leveraging his wealth of experience and team building style in our restructured organisation.”
