Amadeus Pictures has lined up Polanski, an unauthorised story about the life of Roman Polanski that is set to begin filming in Belgium, Poland and the US in January 2008.
Amadeus CEO Damian Chapa will direct from his own screenplay, and will also produce and play Polanski's Polish producer friend Eugene Gutowski.
'We're excited to bring to movie audiences around the world the fascinating story surrounding the life of one of the most provocative figures in the film industry today,' Chapa said.
Chapa previously appeared in Amadeus' spy thriller Fuego, as well as El Padrino, Blood In, Blood Out, Under Siege, and Street Fighter.
