Warner Bros International Television Distribution (WBITD) has promoted Sylvia Rothblum to senior vice president and managing director, German-speaking territories.

Based in Munich, Rothblum will supervise WBITD's operations in German-speaking Europe, overseeing the licensing of content including series, theatrical and TV movies and animation to free and pay TV operators over terrestrial, cable, satellite and IPTV platforms. She will also supervise licensing to selected new media clients in the areas of ad-supported video-on-demand and subscription video-on-demand.

She will report to Robert Blair, senior vice president, Northern Europe, WBITD, and Willi Geike, president and managing director, Warner Bros. Entertainment GmbH.

Rothblum has been WBITD's vice president and managing director, German-speaking territories since 2002. She previously worked at EM-TV.
