Writer/director Jan Dunn and producer Elaine Wickhamof Medb Films have completed shooting for theirsecond feature film, Ruby Red Chequer.

The project stars Bob Hoskins, JosianeBalasko and Jody Latham in the story of a Britishwidower who falls for his foreign neighbour.

The 19-day shoot started in Kent on May 10.

Dunn says the film should be completed in Septemberwith an aim of screening in Sundance 2007. Emma Collins is editing at Medb's own post-production facilities using Final Cut Proafter the film was shot with ThomsonViper FilmStream.

Target Entertainment is handling international salesand is also partially financing Ruby Red Chequer. Also backing the project are London's Old Vic theatre company and CharlesFinch's Pink Sands.

Dunn and Wickham previouslymade the British Dogme feature Gypo, which LionsgateUK will release in September.
