EuropaCorp and Mick Jagger's Jagged Films are preparing a late2006 start on the animated feature Ruby Tuesday in time for a winter 2008 release.

The partners are jointly producing the project and EuropaCorp isfinancing and handling North American rights with ICM, which representsJagger and Jagged Films. EuropaCorp holds international rights.

French family animation veterans Paul and Gaetan Brizzi aredirecting the story, which is styled as a Faustian tale of a single mothersearching for happiness in New York.

The picture will feature 12 hits from the Rolling Stones' backcatalogue that will illustrate various episodes in the protagonist's story.

Jagged Films' Victoria Pearman brought the project to the companyafter she was approached by the Brizzi Brothers, whose family animation workincludes Gaumont International's Asterix Et La Surprise De Cesar and The Firebird Suite segment in Disney's Fantasia/2000.

Pearman and ICM approachedEuropaCorp's Luc Besson and Pierre-Ange Le Pogam, who signed on to co-produceand finance.
