Anonymous - who says WOMEN don't have a love for cinema? With only 1 in 10 feature films directed by women, why not do something to address the balance - even if it starts with shorts? The fact there is a fund for shorts is good news! Apart from for female filmmakers who aren't in London, presumably? Why see something that is positive as being negative? And why do people who make negative comments always do it anonymously...?

What lovely tributes to a genuinely lovely guy. I hope Chris knew how we all felt about him. Still hard to believe we won't see him again.
Comment on: Vanishing director George Sluizer dies
The Vanishing is an amazing film. Unforgettable. I was lucky to meet him once, and he was such a lovely guy. So open and down to earth. At least he managed to finish Dark Blood after all this time. That must have made him happy.
