San Sebastian's Horizontes Latinos selects 12 including Avila's Clandestine Childhood

The Horizontes Latinos programme at the 60th edition of the San Sebastian Festival has selected 12 films by filmmakers from Argentina, Mexico, Chile, Brazil, Uruguay and Colombia.

Most of the films have been presented at other festivals but haven’t screened in Spain yet.

They will compete for the Euros 35,000 Horizontes Award.

The films are:

ONCE UPON A TIME VERONICA (ERA UMA VEZ VERONICA), Marcelo Gomes (Brazil)
YOUNG AND WILD (JOVEN Y ALOCADA), Marialy Rivas (Chile)
POST TENEBRAS LUX, Carlos Reygadas (Mexico-France-Germany-Netherlands)
LA PLAYA, Juan Andrés Arango (Colombia-Brazil-France)
SALSIPUEDES (SALSIPUEDES), Mariano Luque (Argentina)
