Jan Hrebejk's Czech ensemble drama Beauty In Trouble won the Best International Feature Film Award at the 22nd annual Santa Barbara International Film Festival (Jan 25-Feb 4).

The American Spirit Award went to Michael Schroeder's Man In The Chair starring Christopher Plummer and Michael Angarano.

The Gold Vision Award for innovative film-making was presented to two films: Adam Green and Joel David Moore's relationship drama Spiral starring Moore and Amber Tamblyn, and Alante Alfandari's psycho-drama Fissures.

The Gold Vision Award winners will receive an offer for worldwide distribution from York Entertainment valued at $30,000.

Dan Klores' Crazy Love, which Magnolia Pictures bought at Sundance last month, won best documentary honours, and Daniel Sanchez Arevalo dark romance DarkBlueAlmostBlack was awarded the Nueva Vision Award for the best Spanish and Latin American film.

The Audience Choice for Best Feature went to Logan Smalley's comedy Darius Goes West: The Roll Of His Life.

The Fund For Santa Barbara Social Justice Award went to Petricia Foulkrod's Iraq War documentary The Ground Truth and James Wood's oil industry documentary Crude Impact.

The Bruce Corwin Award for best live action short film went to Yan England's Moi, while the Bruce Corwin Award for best animation was awarded to Don Hertzfeldt's Everything Will Be OK.
