Ridley Scott's Tristan And Isolde is set to go into production in the Czech Republic at the end of August.

The film is a co-production between Quality International and ApolloMedia/ApolloProMedia, UK-based MFF and Filmgroup 111 Prague. Moshe Diamant is set to produce and Ridley Scott oversee as Executive Producer. Kolin Luxembourg will be the service producer while Prague-based Stillking will handle the local production for the project in the Czech Republic.

James Franco (Spider-Man) is starring in the re-telling of the Arthurian legend, with filming taking place mainly on location in and around Prague and at local stages.

Prague-based Stillking Films adds the project to its packed slate this year. The firm is currently handling the untitled Montecito project formerly known as The Ugly Americans, and wrapped the mega-budget monster shoot of Stephen Sommers' Van Helsing earlier this year.

Terry Gilliam's Brothers Grimm will also be lensing in Prague this summer, and the shoot of Guillermo Del Toro's Hellboy is ongoing.
