Screen International is changing the way it delivers information for its subscribers; ScreenDaily is now only available to subscribers.

From next month Screen Weekly will be a new digital product, carrying all the information and news previously found in the print weekly. Screen International will become a monthly magazine with more analysis, industry insight and in-depth box office data.

ScreenDaily will continue as the leading daily online source of information for the industry, but has been enhanced with the new database product Screen Base, which offers information about thousands of films being made and distributed in five key European territories.

Mike Goodridge, the recently appointed editor of Screen International, who is now based in London after 12 years as US editor, said: “We are responding to the changes in the way people need information in this market and what our readers have told us. We are putting digital at the heart of what we do in terms of daily news, box office information and reviews.

“Our digital weekly edition for subscribers will deliver everything the weekly print product did - and more. It will arrive in people’s in-box presenting the information they want, in the way they want to receive it”.

A special monthly version of Screen International will now be published with more territory focus, features and analysis, along with additional specials throughout the year providing further detail on key industry events.  The first Screen International monthly will be published in early March.

“We have been asking our readers and subscribers what they want and we’ve acted upon that research. They told us that generally, ScreenDaily.com was the place they looked first for news, reviews and the latest box office data.

Screen will continue to produce its market leading print dailies at the key markets such as Cannes, Berlin, AFM and Toronto and digital versions of these dailies will also be available to subscribers.
