New films this week include Elijah Wood starrer Grand Piano as well as French-Belgian drama Chez Nous, C’est Trois with Noémie Lvovsky in the lead role.

Noémie Lvovsky will star as an uninspired film director who is helped find the real meaning in her career through the colourful team of people she meets in Claude Duty’s Chez Nous, C’est Trois. Marie Kremer, Judith Godrèche, Julien Doré and Olivia Bonamy have also been cast. Shooting is currently taking place in the Brittany and Haute Normandie regions, France.

The drama is produced by Nicolas Brevière’s Local Films as well as Trompe Le Monde and Left Field Ventures. Ciné+, Brittany Film Commission, Sofica Cofinova and the Brittany and Haute-Normandy region provided financial backing. Also currently shooting (in Spain and Chicago) is Eugenio Mira’s thriller Grand Piano starring Elijah Wood and John Cusack and centring on a returning piano player who is about to play his first new show when a psychopath threatens to kill his wife unless it’s note perfect. Eugenio Mira is directing from a screenplay by Damien Chazelle and Rodrigo Cortes and Adrian Guerra are jointly producing for Nostromo Pictures.
