New York entertainment law firm Rudolph & Beer (R&B) has formed a new division R&B FM (Film & Music) to be headed by Lisa Fragner, formerly head of east coast production and development for Fox Searchlight Pictures. Fragner has been at Searchlight for four years in production and development, having started as an assistant to the company's former president Lindsay Law.

R&B was founded by Steven Beer and Larry Rudolph as an entertainment boutique specialising in music, film, licensing, new media and sports law. R&B FM aims to serve its clients with strategic production services from packaging and producing films with artists and other talent to licensing music to negotiating soundtracks and serving as producers' representative.

R&B numbers among its clients Britney Spears, Justin Timberlake of N Sync, three members of The Backstreet Boys, 98 Degrees, Eden's Crush and O-Town. Among the films which Beer has represented for sales include Sling Blade, Star Maps, Three Seasons, Tumbleweeds, The Ballad of Ramblin' Jack, Black And White and LIE.

Beer and Fragner will be at Cannes this week to advance the plans and projects of R&B FM.
