The Sheffield InternationalDocumentary Festival will launch its UK tour at the National Film Theatrein London from February 2-5.

The tour, in its seventh year,includes highlights from the Sheffield festival held in October. After a four-day run at the NFT,the three-month tour will continue in cities including Belfast, Bristol, Chichester,Edinburgh, Glasgow, Leeds, Manchester, Middlesborough,Nottingham and Stirling.

Twelve shorts and features will bescreened, including Pirjo Honkasalo's The 3Rooms of Melancholia, Alex Gibney's Enron: The Smartest Guys in the Room,Eric Black and Frauke Sandig'sFrozen Angels, and Mercedes Moncada Rodriguez's The Immortal.

The NFT stop of the tour will alsoinclude a special event to mark the 50th anniversary of Free Cinema, includingscreenings of Lindsay Anderson's ODreamland, Karel Reiszand Tony Richardson's Momma Don't Allow,Alain Tanner and Claude Goretta's Nice Time, Mike Grigsby's Enginemen, and Elizabeth Russell's Food For a Blush.
