The UK's will get a new music and film festival in April as Sensoria launches in Sheffield.

The highlights will include a programme of Jarvis Cocker's films (including one new work); a full audiovisual performance of The Fading Room: Memories and Remixes from Future Loop Foundation; and live music accompanying The Passion Of Joan of Arc in Sheffield Cathedral.

Music-related films will include A Life In The Death of Joe Meek and Harry Smith's Old Weird America.

Sensoria's supporters include Jarvis Cocker, Richard Hawley, Martyn Ware, The Long Blondes, Reverend and the Makers and Richard H. Kirk of Cabaret Voltaire.
