Mark Amin's Sobini Films has launched a sales division and installed recent hire Todd Olsson to run it.

Olsson, who previously handled sales with Mark Damon at Behaviour Films and worked at American World Pictures, among others, is at AFM to meet buyers.

Sobini Films International's first projects is Damien Harris' kidnapping drama Gardens Of The Night, which stars newcomer Gillian Jacobs as a 17-year-old girl who reunites with her parents after a horrific time in captivity.

Tom Arnold, Kevin Zegers, Jeremy Sisto and John Malkovich also star, and Pascal Franchot and RD Robb produced. William Morris is handling North American rights.

Sobini Films International plans to unveil a full slate as a fully operational sales company at the European Film Market in Berlin next spring. The company plans to sell in-house and third party productions ranging from arthouse to broader commercial fare.

Amin and Sobini president Cami Winikoff most recently produced Peaceful Warrior, which was released in North America through the company's first look deal with Lionsgate.
