Spall and Broadbent join Sheen in The Damned United
Timothy Spall and Jim Broadbent have joined the cast of Tom Hooper's The Damned United, which starts principal photography on Sunday May 25. As reported Michael Sheen takes the lead role as legendary football manager Brian Clough, and Spall will play his right hand man Peter Taylor while Broadbent plays Sam Longson.Backers are BBC Films, Columbia Pictures and Screen Yorkshire.
