A group of partners havejoined to establish new Spain-based international sales consortium 6 Sales, thepartners announced at the Donostia-San Sebastian International Film Festival.

Enrique Posner, formergeneral manager of Warner Bros Pictures International Espana who is now in theprocess of acquiring a non-entertainment company with assets to properties forfilm and TV, will oversee marketing and international distribution, whileMarina Fuentes of producer Galba Productions will act as managing director andhead of sales for the new consortium.

Also involved are ManuelCristobal, Ruben Zarauza and Maria Arochena of new production start-up PerroVerde Films. Cristobal will head the production department and Zarauza will actas manager and sales executive for 6 Sales.

'All of the partnersare involved in different areas and that's why this teaming makes sense,'said Fuentes, who previously helped establish Lumina Films and oversaw foreignsales at Lolafilms. '6 Sales will help cover a void of sales agencies thatspecialize in top-notch animation,' added Cristobal about one of thecompany's areas of focus.

Films on the current slate,to be presented at November's American Film Market, include Tribeca screener Alone With Herstarring Colin Hanks and Ana Claudia Talancon, an English-language thrillerabout a man stalking a woman. The film, shot partially on surveillanceequipment, is directed by Eric Nicholas and produced by Tom and Bob Engelman'sPinhole Productions. IFC and The Weinstein Company already have US rights.

Perro Verde is preparing a$15m English-language CGI family film to be presented in Cannes; the $2.5m (Euros2m) romantic comedy Spleen starringLuis Tosar; Going Nuts, a quirkyanimated film starring painted peanuts and walnuts; and puppet animation Zombie Western in co-production withDenmark's Happy Fly Fish.

6 Sales will also handleGalba's flamenco drama Caminando,writer-director Daryl Matthews' tale of an American navy pilot (PeterYoungblood) who unravels his family's Spanish history with a beautiful gypsywoman, played by Penelope Cruz's sister Monica; and London and Buenos Aires-setthriller Rainey The Assassin starringRicardo Darin and Cecilia Roth.

The initial slate is roundedout by recent Venice entry Cobrador,In God We Trust starring Peter Fonda, and local cult director Roger Gual'snew comedy Remake.
