Sundance Channel hasacquired the US television rights to Brian Knappenberger's documentary LifeAfter War.

The deal was negotiated byChristian Vesper on behalf of Sundance Channel and Marc Halperin of Magic LampReleasing on behalf of the film.

The film focuses on SarahChayes, a former National Public Radio war correspondent, and her involvementin Afghans for Civil Society, the non-governmental organisation committed tofostering democracy in Afghanistan.

Life After War makes its television debut on Dec 1 as part ofSundance Channel's ongoing documentary destination, DOCday.
