Séville International has announced a slew of sales ahead of the AFM on The Dark Horse, Elephant Song and An Eye For Beauty.

Rights on The Dark Horse have gone in Benelux (Imagine Film), France (Zed), Germany (Koch Media), Scandinavia (Scanbox), Switzerland (Praesens), Turkey (Fabula), UK (Koch Media), Israel (Shoval Film), Middle East (Shooting Stars), Colombia (Babilla Cine) and airlines (Jaguar).

eOne will directly distribute in Canada writer-director James Napier Robertson’s story of a man who struggles to overcome challenges and pass on his gift to children in his community. Cliff Curtis stars.

Séville’s vice-president of international sales Anick Poirier (pictured) and her team have closed deals on Elephant Song, the psychological thriller starring Xavier Dolan that premiered in Toronto.

Deals closed in Japan (UpLink), South Korea (At Nine Film), Turkey (Bir Film), Israel (Shoval Film) and China (Blue Media Times). Séville is in negotiations for Benelux and confirmed it will handle Charles Binamé’s film in the UK.

Bruce Greenwood, Carrie-Anne Moss and Catherine Keener also star in the tale of a psychiatrist who questions a patient about a colleague’s disappearance.

Denys Arcand’s An Eye For Beauty stars Éric Bruneau, Mélanie Thierry and Melanie Merkosky in the story of a young married architect who undergoes a life-changing encounter with a mysterious woman.

The film has gone in Spain (Golem), Japan (At Entertainment), Russia/CIS (Russian Report), Turkey (Bir Film), Baltic States (Incognito), South Korea (Mediasoft Film), Taiwan (Joint Entertainment), China (Blue Media Times) and Brazil (Tucuman Distribuidora).
