The Way, Way Back producers Sycamore Pictures will produce and finance the dysfunctional holiday comedy A Friggin’ Christmas Miracle. Hyde Park International will introduce to buyers at EFM.

Joel McHale and Robin Williams will star in the road movie about a married man who embarks on a frantic round trip with his father and younger brother to retrieve his children’s presents in time for Christmas. Phil Johnston wrote the screenplay and Tristram Shapeero is attached to direct.

Production is set to begin in Atlanta, Georgia, in late March. Tom Rice of Sycamore Pictures will produce alongside Joe and Anthony Russo.

WME packaged the project, arranged financing and will represent North American rights.

Last month at Sundance WME and CAA closed a $9.8m deal with Fox Searchlight for North American and select international rights to The Way, Way Back [pictured] in what became the biggest deal of the festival.
