Fortissimo Films has signed a string of deals on several titles on its Berlin slate, including further sales on Ira Sachs’ Love Is Strange, which has gone to Spain (Golem) and Italy (Koch Media) among other territories.

Love Is Strange, which screened in Berlin’s Panorama section, also went to Portugal (Midas Film), Switzerland (Xenix Filmdistribution, Turkey (Kurmaca), Bulgaria (Bulgaria Film Vision), Former Yugoslavia (MegaCom Film) and Israel (Forum Film).

Before Berlin, Fortissimo sold the film to the UK’s Altitude Films, France (Pretty Pictures), Brazil (Alpha Filmes), Benelux (Wild Bunch), Australia/New Zealand (Rialto Distribution) and Greece (Faliro House).

In addition, Fortissimo has sold South African crime thriller iNumber Number to several key territoriesm including France (Zylo), Germany (Pandastorm), Japan (KlockWorx) and Iran (IRIB). 

Fortissimo also scored several deals on Jeremy Lin documentary Linsanity, which has gone to Australia (Umbrella Entertainment), Canada (Kinosmith), Spain (Sogecine-Canal Plus) and Sweden (UR). Latin American pay-TV rights went to HBO Latin America Media Services and world air rights to CineSky Pictures.

Foodie drama Final Recipe, which screened in Berlin’s Culinary Cinema section, went to Germany (AV Visionen), Spain (Kiss Comunicacio), Italy (Officine UBU), Switzerland (Praesens Films) and Former Yugoslavia (Discovery Film and Video Distribution).
