The Angels’ Share, Intouchables and I, Anna will screen out of competition at Sarajevo’s Open Air venue.

The Sarajevo Film Festival has announced the first three titles to screen at the 3,000-seat !hej Open Air venue at its 18th edition which runs July 6-14.

Ken Loach’s Scottish caper comedy The Angels’ Share, winner of the Grand Jury Prize in Cannes, will be shown in the presence of actors Paul Brannigan and Gary Maitland.

Director Barnaby Southcombe, actress Charlotte Rampling and producer Christopher Simon will come to Sarajevo to support the screening of I, Anna, which played in this year’s Berlinale Special Programme.

Audiences of the Sarajevo Film Festival will also have the opportunity to see the most popular French film of 2011, Intouchables by Olivier Nakache and Eric Toledano. In addition to winning the David di Donatello award for the Best European Film, as well as the Grand Prix at the Tokyo Film Festival and the César for best actor for Omar Sy, the film has sold more than 30 million admissions worldwide.
