Tickets go on sale Aug 20 for the added shows.

After a sold out run (and several early dates cancelled), Secret Cinema has announced mroe dates have been added for its Back to the Future production in London. Dates have been added for Aug 25 (Bank Holiday Monday) and Aug 27 (Weds).

The new tickets will be available from 1pm on Aug 20 at www.secretcinema.org/tickets.

Despite its early setback with its first four shows canceled, the production has since won rave reviews and gotten the film back into the UK Top 10 box office for the first time since its theatrical launch in 1985.

The company noted: “In a generous gesture by Virgin Trains, those who were affected by the cancellations of the first four shows, and are eligible to travel on a Virgin Trains route, will be offered complimentary Standard Class travel. Secret Cinema is proud to announce this partnership and would like to thank Virgin Trains for this fantastic contribution. All those who have been in touch with Secret Cinema will be contacted individually with further details.”

The production presents not only the film screening but a recreation of the town of Hill Valley in a secret London location.
