France’s Other Angle has announced its line-up for the upcoming Cannes Film Market with hot new project The Lords leading the pack.

Lords is from La Vie En Rose director Olivier Dahan and stars José Garcia, Gad Elmaleh, Franck Dubosc and Gad Elmaleh as a group of ex-football stars who reunite to save the destiny of a small village in Brittany. The social comedy is said to be in the vein of Brassed Off and The Full Monty.

Other Angle will also world premiere Nicostratos from Olivier Horlait. Emir Kusturica stars in the story of a young boy and the adopted pelican who teaches him about life. Warner Bros is releasing in France in June.

The previously announced All Our Desires from Philippe Lioret will screen by invitation only. Vincent Lindon and Marie Gillain star in the adaptation of Emmanuel Carrère’s book about two judges who unite to make a change.

Gilles Legrand’sYou Will Be My Son, which Universal is releasing in France in August, will also world premiere along with First Love, the feature directorial debut of La Première Etoile writer and producer Marie-Castille Mention-Schaar which Mars is releasing in France in October.

Also screening are Michel G, King Of The World from director Stéphane Kazandjian and Meeting With An Angel by Yves Thomas and Sophie de Daruvar.
