THINKFilm has acquired NorthAmerican theatrical and home video rights to Heidi Ewing and Rachel Grady's TheBoys Of Baraka and will roll it outin New York on Nov 30.

The story follows fourchildren as they are transplanted from the mean streets of Baltimore to aprivate boarding school in Kenya and recently won best documentary at the 2005Chicago, Newport and Atlanta film festivals, among others.

Ewing and Grady produced andThe Independent Television Service and P.O.V./American Documentary served asexecutive producers.

Vice president ofacquisitions Daniel Katz negotiated the deal on behalf of THINKFilm with andJosh Braun and Roger E Kass of Submarine Entertainment on behalf of thefilmmakers.
