Toronto adds two new “Focus On…” sessions to Industry Programme
The Toronto International Film Festival (Sept 8 – 18) has added two “Focus On…” sessions to its Industry Programme.
On Wednesday 14 September The State of The Industry: Theatrical Release Windows and VoD will cover the controversial issue of shrinking windows and the emerging business models taking advantage of the trend with speakers including John Fithian, President and CEO, National Association of Theatre Owners (NATO), Todd Wagner, CEO 2929 Entertainment and Geoff Gilmore, Chief Creative Officer, Tribeca Enterprises.
On Thursday 15 September Australian filmmaker and writer Bruce Beresford will discuss his career and his latest film, screening at Toronto, Peace, Love, & Misunderstanding, starring Jane Fonda, Catherine Keener and Elizabeth Olsen.
