TLA Releasing, the oneyear-old Philadelphia-based US distributor specialising in independent, foreignand gay/lesbian-themed films, has picked up rights to three new pictures- Ventura Pons' Spanish drama Food Of Love, Steve Guttenberg's directorial debut PSYour Cat Is Dead! and Yolanda GarciaSerrano and Juan Luis Iborra's Spanish comedy KM. 0.

Food Of Love, an English-language adaptation of DavidLeavitt's novel The Page Turner, stars Juliet Stevenson, Paul Rhys, AllanCorduner, Kevin Bishop and Geraldine McEwan. TLA's partner and directorof marketing Richard A Wolff madethe deal with Barcelona-based Forty-Second Street Productions and plans to openthe film in New York on Oct 25.

PS Your Cat Is Dead! stars Guttenberg as a struggling actor who catches aburglar (Lombardo Boyar), ties him up and starts to torment him. It was basedon the cult novel and play by James Kirkwood and had its world premiere at theSan Francisco International Lesbian & Gay Film Fstival in June. The dealwas closed with Mr Kirby Productions in Los Angeles and a theatrical run is setfor Jan 2003.

KM. 0. stars Concha Velasco, Georges Corraface and Silke inan ensemble piece set in Madrid and was sold to TLA by Sogepaq. It will bereleased theatrically in Feb 2003.
