Longtime independent film and television producer Gallo arrives from CNN in New York as Troika oversees five films in production.
The slate includes the love story Paradise Cove, rom-com One Fell Swoop, thrillers Careful What You Wish For and The Hive, and action film Ten.
Gallo’s credits include Ultimate Fighter and Under Fire.
Troika Pictures is backed by independent financing and has a first-look domestic distribution deal with Sony Pictures.
