Turkey, the latest territory addition to ScreenDaily.com's World Box Office service, boasts two local productions in its current top 10.

While down 37% on its previous weekend local hit Neredesin Firuze' continues to hold a top three position and has taken a $4.5m gross to date for UIP.

Something's Gotta Give held the top spot for the third consecutive weekend despite slipping 34% from the previous week.

New Films International saw the highest new opening with horror title Freddy Vs Jason, although Warner Bros' release of Bernardo Bertolucci's The Dreamers scored a better screen average playing at nine fewer screens. Freddy Vs Jason has grossed $31.5m from all international territories to date. It grossed $82.2m in North America.

In its international debut Kevin Smith's Jersey Girl opened day-and-date with the North American release. However the film found little favour in Turkey and managed only just sneaked into the top 10.

Last week positions and % changes are not available this week for Turkey as it is the first week this territory has run on ScreenDaily.com. These fields will be active from next week onwards.
