Eric Robinson has beenpromoted to vice president of production and development at The WeinsteinCompany (TWC).

Reporting to co-president of production Michel Cole and based in New York,Robinson will work on developing and producing projects for the studio,focusing mostly on animated material.

As a vice president of production and development he currently oversees thedevelopment of all animated projects for the company including UnstableFables, Cricket In Times Square, Igor,Escape From Planet Earth, thefourth instalment of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, and Hoodwinked follow-up Hood Vs Evil.

Robinson is also working on a number of live-action projects including TheEqualizer, Panic, Knight Rider, Spring Break In Bosnia,and Untitled Dane Cook Project.

He started his career in 1999 as an assistant at WMA and joined Miramax in 2000as an executive assistant to Harvey Weinstein. He was promoted to a director inthe production department in 2003, and two years later segued to TWC as adirector of production.
