The Weinstein Company's (TWC) international chief Glen Basner hasreported lively business at the Cannes market, adding that the companyvirtually sold out on Exodus Film Group's CG-animated comedy Igor.

Basnersigned key deals with Momentum in the UK, Aurum in Spain, TF1 in France, andConstantin in Germany and Switzerland.

Sales were also concluded with West Film Group in Russia, Europain Brazil, Jung-A Entertainment in South Korea, RCV in Benelux, Applause inTaiwan, EEAP in Eastern Europe, Italia in the Middle East, Lusomundo inPortugal, and Film Pop in Turkey.

"It's fantastic to have sold almost every territorywhile the film is still in pre-production and we're thrilled that such leadingdistributors are joining us in the animation business, which is an integralelement of our ongoing business at TWC International," Basner said.

Billed as a subversive twist on the monster story, Igor follows a mad scientist's hunchbackedlab assistant as he attempts to win the annual Evil Science Fair.

Chris McKenna wrote the story and Eraklis produced with animationexecutive Max Howard, who previously collaborated on The Lion King, Aladdin,Space Jam, and TheIron Giant.

TWC's animated projects include the fourth instalment of TeenageMutant Ninja Turtles, Escape From Planet Earth, Opus, Cricket In Times Square, and the Hoodwinked follow-up Hood Vs Evil.

Exodus' animatedslate includes The Hero Of Color City and Amarillo Armadillo, and the company is preparing the animated and live-actionmix Bunyan & Babe,with Eddie Griffin providing the voice for the animated character Babe the blueox.
