FormerWellspring Media executives Janet Baker and Kathy Gilbert have joined US musicand video distributor Koch Entertainment Distribution, with Baker coming onboard as director of sales - video and Gilbert as regional video sales manager.

Effectiveimmediately, Baker will be based in Chicago where she will oversee thecompany's expanding video sales efforts, supervise regional staff and work withkey national accounts. She will report directly to vice president of video DanGurlitz.

Gilbert will bebased in Nashville and starts work on Jan 5 2004. She will oversee thecompany's video sales activities in the southern territory and reports directlyto Baker.

"Ms Baker's andMs Gilbert's addition to the team, which already includes northern regionalvideo sales manager Dan Zilka, begins to paint a picture that is stunning...simply stunning," Gurlitz said in a statement.

"There is onlyone slot remaining, on the West Coast, and then Koch Entertainment's newlycreated, dedicated video sales team will be complete."

Baker enteredthe video business in 1982 and has held sales and sales management positions atMCA, MGM, Academy Entertainment, Home Vision and most recently WellspringMedia, where she served as director of sales.

Gilbert has alsobeen in the industry for more than 20 years and has held sales positions atMedia Home Entertainment, MGM/UA Home Video, Academy Entertainment and RepublicPictures. She most recently served as southern regional sales manager atWellspring Media.
