French sales outfit UGCInternational is to handle Family Hero, the new film from Une Vie A T'Attendre director Thierry Kilfa starring Catherine Deneuve,Gerard Lanvin, Miou-Miou, Geraldine Pailhas and Michael Cohen.

At Euros 12m Hero is written by Klifa and Christopher Thompson andwill be produced by UGC International president Said Ben Said's in-house SBSFilms.

Also on UGC's slate areAndre Techine's next project, The Witnesses and A Secret from Claude Miller. Ben Said is producing the formerwhile in house producer Yves Marmion is handling the Miller title.

Marmion is also producing TheStone Council starring MonicaBellucci on a Euros 20m budget and directed by Guillaume Nicloux. Council isbased on the novel by Crimson Rivers writer Jean-Christophe Grange which was adapted by Brotherhood Of The Wolfwriter Stephane Cabel.

Also on UGC's slate is TheHyper-Chondriac starring up andcomer Clovis Cornillac and directed by Gerard Bitton and Michel Munz, who werethe writers behind smash French comedy La Verite Si Je Mens.
