The UK Film Council isworking with UK Trade and Investment to bring a delegation from the UK film industry from Oct 12-20 to Korea to attend the Pusan International Film Festival,Pusan Promotion Plan and Asian Film Market.

The UK companies represented are Capitol Films, CelsiusEntertainment, Hanway Films, High Point Films, Independent Film Sales, Odysseyand Soda Pictures, as well as UK Film Council representatives.

The visit will includeindustry briefings, meetings, events, and screenings of UK films. Independent Film Sales is participating inthe co-production market PPP for its feature TheBallad Of Jo Lim.

"Korea has the tenth most valuable theatrical market in theworld. Coupled with the reduction in the national film quota and the growingsuccess of Korean films internationally, this market offers real possibilities,"said Sarah McKenzie, senior export executive development for the UK FilmCouncil's international department.
