UK second city to host digital conference

The UK city of Birmingham has announced plans aimed at putting it as the centre of the changes to digital cinema and television.The city will host a series of events over the next 12 months, culminating in a major International Digital Film Event in 2008."We were the birthplace of the industrial revolution and now we are going to be at the heart of the digital revolution," said Leader of Birmingham City Council, Mike Whitby.
