Universal Pictures has acquired the rights to Marc Platt Productions and Millar/Gough Ink's action comedy Family Bond.

Jeff Lowell, who wrote John Tucker Must Die, will write the screenplay
about a spy and his relationship with his daughter.

Marc Platt and Adam Siegel are producing for Marc Platt Productions
along with Alfred Gough and Miles Millar for Millar/Gough.

Platt produced and Siegel served as executive producer on Universal's
Wanted starring James McAvoy and Angelina Jolie that opens on June 27.

Millar and Gough are producing Hannah Montana: The Movie and wrote
Universal's upcoming Mummy: Tomb Of The Dragon Emperor.

Universal president of production Donna Langley will oversee Family
Bond for the studio alongside senior vice president of production
Jeffrey Kirschenbaum. Adam Siegel will oversee for Marc Platt
Productions.
