Suzanne Cole has beenpromoted to senior vice president of media at Universal Pictures, and willserve as chief strategist for media planning for film marketing campaigns andfor Universal Studios Home Entertainment releases.

Cole, who willreport directly to Universal Pictures Marketing president Adam Fogelson, joinedUniversal as vice president of media in 1999.

Since then shehas devised media plans for more than 100 theatrical and home entertainmenttitles including The Mummy series, Erin Brockovich, Bring It On, the Meet The Parents series, The Bourne Identity and its sequel and American Pie, among others.

Upcoming campaigns include TheInterpreter, starring Nicole Kidmanand Sean Penn, Cinderella Man,starring Russell Crowe and Renee Zellweger, and King Kong directed by Peter Jackson.

Prior to joiningUniversal, Cole worked at PolyGram Filmed Entertainment and Saatchi andSaatchi, where she oversaw media planning for MGM.
