Wilmer Valderrama will produce and possibly star in Universal Pictures'story about Partybuddys founders James King and Jason Roefaro.

Mike Samonek is writing the screenplay about the entrepreneurial friendswhose VIP service offers party-goers a ready-made posse, bodyguard, limo,paparazzi detail and nightclub entry.

Valderrama's manager Glenn Rigberg will serve as executive producealong with John Tantillo.

Universal's senior vice president of production Holly Bario will overseethe project for the studio.

Valderrama, a star of television's long-running That 70s Show, will next be seen in RichardLinklater's drama Fast Food Nation and Paul Feig's comedy Unaccompanied Minors. He is represented by UTA, Rigberg EntertainmentGroup and attorney Michael Gendler.

Samonek wrote comedies The Whole Pemberton Thing, which Ken Kwapis will direct, and CarWars. He is representedby UTA and Management 360.
