Michelle Rodriguez, Matt Davis and Michael Madsen have joined thecast of BloodRayne, Uwe Boll's video game adaptation set to begin principalphotography in Romania later this month.

All three willplay vampire hunters alongside T3 star Kristanna Loken, who plays the titlerole of a half-human, half-vampire who roams the world eliminating evilsupernatural forces.

Ben Kingsley was unveiled last week as BloodRayne's arch enemyKagan, king of the vampires.

Boll will produce with Shawn Williamson of Vancouver-basedBrightlight Pictures and Dan Clarke. Guinevere Turner, whose credits include American Psycho, wrotethe screenplay.

Through his Boll KG production fund, Boll is making a name forhimself as one of the busiest producers of video game adaptations.

House Of The Dead, the big screen version of the Sega game,grossed more than $10.2m when it opened through Artisan in October 2003, andAtari adaptation Alone In The Dark starring Christian Slater and Tara Reid isscheduled for release through Lions Gate.

Film rights to BloodRayne were licensed by games studio Majesco.
