Agnes Jaoui's French hit Le Gout Des Autres will open this year's Viennale - Vienna International Film Festival (October 13-25). Curtis Hanson's Wonder Boys will close proceedings.

Highly-anticipated titles in the festival's feature section include Terence Davies' The House Of Mirth, Wong Kar-wai's In the Mood For Love, Lars von Trier's Dancer In The Dark and Nagisa Oshima's Gohatto.

The documentary section will showcase such diverse works as Errol Morris' Mr. Death - The Rise And Fall Of Fred A. Leuchter, Agnes Varda's Les Glaneurs Et La Glaneuse, James Benning's El Valley Centro and Gerd Kroske's Der Boxprinz.

While all of the films screened at the festival are Austrian premieres, the event also offers several world premieres including Mathias Mueller's Nebel and Katsumi Sakaguchi's Blue Tower.

Visitors will also be able to see a retrospective of movies by blacklisted writers, including gems such as Mervyn LeRoy's They Won't Forget, Robert Wise's Odds Against Tomorrow and William Wyler's The Little Foxes. German critic and film-maker Hartmut Bitomsky, Japanese film-maker Shinji Aoyama and US director Richard Lester will be honoured with tributes.
