The 130-title line-up, which includes many films not picked up for Austrian distribution, also boasts Jacques Rivette's Who Knows', Richard Linklater's Waking Life and Tsai Ming-liang's What Time Is It There'

Among the slots which the event has earmarked for newcomers or discoveries are Lisandro Alonso's La Libertad, Bertrand Bonello's Le Pornographe, Abolfazl Jalili's Delbaran, Maria Speth's In Den Tag Hinein, Wang Chao's The Orphan Of Anyang, Raphael Nadjari's I Am Josh Polonski's Brother and Asoka Handagama's This is My Moon.

A colourful selection inspired by the so-called trivial and trashy world of popular myths and fictions includes Wisit Sasanatieng's Tears Of The Black Tiger, John Cameron Mitchell's Hedwig And The Angry Inch and Robert Lee King's Psycho Beach Party.
