New York-based Visit Films will be showing early footage here from Ramona S Diaz’ documentary Don’t Stop Believin’: Everyman’s Journey.

The story tells how the celebrated rock band Journey gave a Filipino cover band singer a shot at becoming their frontman after they saw him on YouTube.

“Something like this could never be made up,” Visit’s Sylvain Tron said. “And now for Visit to be working with Journey to bring their story to the market… it is a fantasy of ours fulfilled.”

Visit has added a screening of Harmony Korine’s Trash Humpers at 2.15pm on February 16 at CineStar 2.

The company’s EFM slate includes Eyad Zahra’s Sundance entry The Taqwacores, Valerie Donzelli’s La Reine Des Pommes, Sophie Deraspe’s Vital Signs, and Shirley Adams.
