The SerbianMinistry of Culture has announced the winners of this year's film fundingcompetition, with two films backed by France's Wild Bunch receiving state aid.

In total, fourprojects were awarded funding. They are:

Mamarosh, by writer/director Momcilo Mrdakovic and a co-production with Cinears(Serbia), Yalla Productions and Wild Bunch (France);

Charleston And Vendetta (Carlston Za Ognjenku), written by Uros Stojanovic, SrdjanDragojevic, Aleksandar Radivojevic and Stevan Koprivica, to be directed by Stojanovicand co-produced by Blue Pen (Serbia) and Wild Bunch.

If The Seed Don't Die (Ako Zrno Ne Umre), written and to be directed by SinisaDragin and produced by Mrakonia Film (Serbia);

Karaula, by writer Ante Tomic and writer/director Rajko Grlic, co-produced byYodi Movie Craftsman (Serbia), Propeler Film (Croatia), E-Motion/Vertigo(Slovenia), Sektor Dooel (Macedonia) and Refresh Productions(Bosnia-Herzegovina).

All projects havebeen awarded $262,295 (SD16m) each, except for Karaula which will receive $196,721. This project has already beenbacked by EUR200,000 from Eurimages.

The juryconsisted of Djordje Milicevic, the president of the Film Center of Serbia,director Radivoje Andric and film critic Milan Vlajcic.
