Wild Bunch will handle international sales and French distribution on Chanel And Stravinsky. The film is to be directed by Jan Kounen and produced by Claudie Ossard and Chris Bolzli of Eurowide Film Production.

While other Chanel films are currently in the works, Wild Bunch says that this will be first out of the gate and also boasts the support of the house of Chanel.
Pre-production has been completed with shooting to run for three weeks in September. Kounen will edit as he shoots and have the film ready for mid-February with a French release set for March 25 by Wild Bunch Distribution. Veronika Zonabend is a co-producer; Yoichi Sakai of Japan's Hexagon is an associate producer.
The film traces the tumultuous love story of Chanel and Igor Stravinsky which begins with the composer's premiere of The Rite Of Spring.
Shot 80% in English with Russian and French elements, Chanel And Stravinsky will co-star Mads Mikkelsen as the Russian composer. Kounen may also shoot a simultaneous entirely French version according to Wild Bunch's Vincent Maraval.
A promo reel is set to be ready for unveiling at the AFM.
