Screen is offering readers the chance to win a free ticket to the Londonlaunch of the 2009 International Screenwriters Festival on the evening of January 13.

Speakers at the event at Channel 4 headquarters in Horseferry Roadinclude producer and former head of BBC Films David Thompson and Olivia Hetreed, producer of films including The Girl With A Pearl Earring.

Those attending the launch will have an opportunity to win a free four-day pass for the entry to the festival itself worth £339.

The festival will take place from October 26-29 at the famous Cheltenham Ladies College school in Cheltenham.

The event has established itself in recent years as a must-attend event, bringing together writers and the wider international business.
