NewLondon-based distributor Word of Mouth Films has signed two new films, The Gigolos and KZ, for UK distribution.

RichardBracewell's TheGigolos is a buddy film set against the male escort world in upper-class London. Anna Massey, Sian Phillips and Susannah York star.

RexBloomstein's KZis a documentary set in the former SS Concentration Camp of Mauthuasenin Austria. It premiered incompetition at Sundance and will also screen at new UK festival Britdoc and at the Edinburgh Film Festival.

Bothfilms are debut full-length features from UK directors who previouslyworked in TV.

Wordof Mouth plans a September release for TheGigolos, which is also screening at the Cannes Market for otherterritories. It will release KZ followingthe Edinburgh Film Festival in August.

Wordof Mouth, an offshoot of film-making community Shooting People, recently didits first theatrical run for Rupert Murray's acclaimed documentary Unknown White Male.

"Though completely different, KZ and The Gigolosrepresent perfectly the kind of films Word of Mouth are immediately excited by:incredibly accomplished, told in an innovative and interesting way bypassionate and dedicated directors," said Penny Nagle, managing director of thedistributor. "We can't wait to work with the filmmakers to spread the wordabout them."
