Talent agent David Unger has joined Three Six Zero Group co-founders Mark Gillespie and Dean Wilson to form Three Six Zero Entertainment.

Unger will serve as co-CEO of the new venture alongside Gillespie and guide Three Six Zero Group’s expansion into film, TV and digital production as well as financial and branding advisory services to the global entertainment and media industries.

As co-CEOs Unger and Gillespie will oversee offices in Los Angeles, New York and London for Three Six Zero Entertainment, which will operate in partnership with Shawn “JAY Z” Carter’s entertainment company Roc Nation.

Three Six Zero Group, whose music management clients include Calvin Harris, Frank Ocean and Deadmau5, signed a worldwide partnership deal with Roc Nation in 2010.

As previously reported, an HBO series about the world of electronic music is in development, with Harris, Gillespie, Dean Wilson, James Lassiter, Will Smith and Carter producing.

Three Six Zero Entertainment will continue to develop hybrid projects with talent across diverse disciplines.

“The authenticity of engagement with a young audience has already been well established by Three Six Zero,” said Unger. “We will now expand to meet the need for international talent in the areas of film and television.”

Gillespie added: “The phenomenal growth and cross-over from international territories and ancillary businesses has transformed the way we service our clients globally. It is a natural fit for us to partner with David.”

“Three Six Zero Group is a phenomenal visionary and ground breaking partner to Roc Nation,” said Roc Nation co-founder and CEO Jay Brown.

“Three Six Zero Entertainment is another extension of their profound creativity and exponential reach into all mediums and all territories. Mark and Dean and the Three Six Zero family have achieved tremendous success in music and now Three Six Zero Entertainment will expand their potential in film and television.”
